Johnny Kelly

Johnny is an Irish animator, director and human being. He works at Nexus Studios in London and his work spans stop frame animation, CGI, illustration and lots between.

Johnny’s a graduate of the Royal College of Art. His short films have been shown on the BBC, ARTE, PBS and been screened and awarded at film festivals around the world including Palm Springs, TED, Anima Mundi and the Edinburgh Film Festival.

The stop motion film he directed for Chipotle, Back to the Start, won the Film Grand Prix at the Cannes Advertising Festival. He’s been on award juries for D&AD, AICP and British Arrows, and he’s a proud member of the Alliance Graphique Internationale.

Johnny is rubbish at DIY and likes the countryside.
